By downloading or using SnapVat, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

SnapVat is a mobile application that lets you scan receipts, extract expense data using AI, and manage your expenses. We provide the service on two tiers:

• Free — unlimited receipt scanning and AI extraction, with basic expense tracking.
• Pro (€4.99/month) — everything in Free, plus unlimited receipt scanning with no restrictions, Excel and PDF export, and access to advanced filters.

Your data

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you scan into SnapVat. The AI extraction is designed to be accurate but may occasionally make errors — always review extracted data before submitting it to an accountant or tax authority. SnapVat is a tool to assist with record-keeping; it is not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use SnapVat to:

• Submit fraudulent, falsified, or illegal expense claims.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Subscriptions and billing

The Pro plan is a monthly subscription at €4.99 per month, billed automatically through the App Store or Google Play. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your device subscription settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain Pro access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Pro features

The Pro subscription unlocks the following features:

• Unlimited receipt scanning with no monthly cap.
• Export of expense reports in Excel (.xlsx) and PDF formats.
• Advanced filters to sort and slice expenses by date, vendor, category, and VAT status.

Free tier

The free tier includes receipt scanning and AI data extraction. Export functionality and advanced filters require a Pro subscription. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits in the future with reasonable notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

SnapVat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI extraction will be 100% accurate. Use of the app for official tax filings is at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapVat Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including errors in extracted receipt data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
